This is the short version, because the short version is the whole story. BeingTheAnalyst collects very little, and none of it is ever sold.

What we collect

• Your email address, if you sign up for the free cheat sheet. Signups run through Mailchimp, which stores the list and sends the emails.
• Purchase information, if you buy The Analyst Lab. Checkout runs through Payhip, which handles payment. We see your name, email, and what you bought. We never see your card number.
• Usage analytics via Google Analytics: which pages get visited, roughly where visitors come from, and which buttons get clicked. We use it to see what is working on the site, not to identify you. Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser to count visits.

Why we collect it

To send you the cheat sheet and the emails you asked for, to deliver what you bought, and to understand which parts of the site are useful. That is the full list.

What we never do

Your data is never sold, rented, or traded. No third party gets your email except the services named above, and only so they can do their jobs (deliver email, process payment, count visits).

Unsubscribe or delete your data

Every email we send has an unsubscribe link at the bottom. One click and you are off the list.

Want your data deleted entirely? Email info@beingtheanalyst.com or reply to any BTA email and ask. We will remove you from Mailchimp and confirm when it is done.
